Frequently Asked Questions

Get to know CartSift, make sense of price comparisons, and find your next step.

Getting started

What is CartSift?

CartSift helps you search for products and compare retailer offers. It brings available pricing information together so you can consider the product, seller, and costs before deciding where to buy.

Do I need an account to browse?

Create an account and sign in to search, compare, browse product categories, or view product details. A Free account meets this sign-in requirement. Public information pages remain available without an account.

Why is search unavailable or missing a result?

Try a specific product name, brand, model or barcode if a search fails or the results do not fit. Some products may not yet be listed, and a site problem can temporarily interrupt search.

Recognized services, department pages and clearly conflicting models or accessories are omitted where identified. Include case, cover, charger or another accessory type when you want those items.

Search cannot identify every incomplete or incorrect listing. Confirm the exact size, capacity, model, pack and condition before buying.

Why do I need a verified account to use CartSift tools?

Create a CartSift account, sign in, and verify your email before searching, browsing product categories, comparing products, viewing product details or price history, and using personal shopping tools. After verification, continue to the page you requested.

A Free account with a verified email meets this requirement. Features included with paid plans still follow your account access. During maintenance, customer tools may be temporarily unavailable even when you are signed in.

You can read the homepage, pricing, About, Help, and policy pages without an account.

Where can I learn about CartSift’s purpose?

The About Us page explains CartSift’s purpose, its approach to product comparison, and what to check before buying from a retailer.

How do homepage search suggestions work?

The empty search box shows example searches. After you type at least two characters, suggestions can help you enter a known product, brand or model. Click a suggestion or use the arrow keys and Enter, then choose Search. You can also submit your own query.

Suggestions are not confirmed prices or stock availability. Search and product details require an account.

How do I verify my email to unlock tools?

Open the verification link sent to your account email address. If you need another email, use the verification page or Account settings. If you opened the link in another tab or device, return to the verification page and select “I’ve verified my email.”

New accounts created with a Google-verified email already meet this requirement. Other unverified accounts, including Facebook accounts, need to verify their email with CartSift. Changing your account email locks tools until you verify the new address.

You can still sign in, manage your profile and account security, delete your account, and contact support before verification. Public information and policy pages remain available.

What do prices on search results mean?

A recorded item price comes from an existing recent offer. The card shows the retailer, condition, observation time and shipping information. Tax is excluded, and unknown shipping is not treated as free.

If a saved price is missing, open the product to review its available listings. A recorded price is not a guarantee of today's checkout price.

Load more shows additional matching results. Find more products looks for additional listings. Confirmed duplicates may be grouped while different variants remain separate.

Why are some product details missing or marked for review?

Some listings have incomplete brand, model or specification details. Missing information is labeled, and conflicting details may be held for review.

Check the exact model, capacity, color, pack, included items and condition. CartSift does not fill gaps with details from a similar-looking product. A complete description does not guarantee current pricing or stock.

Where are my watchlist, account settings, plan, and referrals?

Open the person icon in the top right. When you are signed in, the menu contains your overview, watchlist, price alerts, price check history, settings, security, plan, and referrals. When you are signed out, use the same menu to sign in or create an account.

Your account overview brings together saved products and recorded activity. Price check history contains checks saved to your account, not every product page you visit.

To check your email verification status or resend a verification email, open Account Settings from the person menu.

How does CartSift organize product information?

Product pages and saved search results use readable product names and summaries based on saved brand, model and specifications. Selected long titles have shorter display versions. The original title remains available on the product page. This does not change which product, size, bundle or condition the listing represents.

Empty specifications and undated rating or review fields are omitted. Specifications with conflicting values are left out until reviewed. Supplied measurement units are retained; CartSift does not guess missing units or fill specifications from a similar product.

Product information does not prove current pricing, stock or final checkout costs. Review the retailer listing to confirm the exact variant, included items, shipping and taxes.

How can I compare products on my phone?

Add products to comparison and open Compare products. On a small screen, use the two product selectors to choose the pair shown in the table. Your other selected products stay in the comparison. The differences-only option applies to the pair currently displayed.

How can I search for an appliance, a replacement part, or a book?

Use the product type and model when you know them. Add belt, filter, replacement or parts when searching for a replacement component, and book or manual when looking for reading material.

Include a book title or ISBN for publications. For products with similar names, choose a category and check the model and details before buying.

Which products appear on department pages?

Department pages show products in the CartSift catalog. Open a product for its details and recorded retailer offers, or use category links and search to narrow the results. Some departments may not yet have matching products.

How are incomplete product details reviewed?

CartSift reviews incomplete product information, missing photos and conflicting category assignments. A review does not fill in missing prices or guarantee availability.

How do I switch between light and dark mode?

Use the sun and moon buttons beside the account icon at the top of the page. They are available on desktop and phone screens, including during maintenance. Your browser remembers your choice when local storage is available.

Light mode uses a pale blue-gray background, softly tinted cards and panels, and readable charcoal text with teal accents. Dark mode uses deep navy with subtle teal accents. Both use orange primary buttons. The faint background grid and homepage chart lines are decorative, not product-price data.

How does CartSift handle typing and misspelled product searches?

Sign in with a verified email address to use search suggestions. After you type, suggestions can help complete a known product, brand or model from the saved catalog. Suggestions may be empty when no eligible matches are available. Clearly conflicting listings are omitted where identified.

CartSift can correct an unambiguous minor spelling error in a known brand or product type and show a notice. Model numbers, capacities and variant names are not guessed. Try a more specific query if the suggestions do not fit.

Where do product photos come from?

Product pages show images associated with the selected product. CartSift checks whether a photo fits the product before displaying it. A photo does not independently verify every specification, included item or retailer offer.

When does CartSift check product prices?

Opening a product page lets you check the recorded offers available for that product. Reopening it does not guarantee a newly checked price.

Use the displayed observation date and check the exact version, seller, shipping and final price with the retailer before buying.

Why does a product say Photo unavailable?

A photo may be missing, fail to load or show a different model or variant. CartSift may leave the photo unavailable rather than show a misleading image. Check the product details and retailer listing before buying.

How can I get more useful search results?

Specific product names and model numbers usually make it easier to find a useful match. Broad searches can take longer and may include multiple variants.

Product categories and details are reviewed when information conflicts. A category review does not verify a price or guarantee current stock.

Why have some products and photos disappeared?

A previous product-data source has been removed. Products supported only by that source and its retailer prices and photos are no longer shown. Products with independently matched Amazon data remain.

Your account, saved watches, subscriptions and community ratings are preserved. Some remaining products show a photo placeholder when no independently reviewed image is available.

How do I browse departments, categories, and product types?

Sign in, open Browse, and choose a department. Select a category to search its saved products, or choose a product type for a more specific search. The department search box keeps your search within that department.

Category links describe ways to search; they do not guarantee saved products, stock, or current offers. If there are no matches, try a brand or model, or use Search all departments.

Browse categories.

Can I search using everyday product names?

Saved-product search recognizes selected equivalent terms, including couch and sofa, fridge and refrigerator, TV and television, diapers and nappies, and stroller and pushchair. It also supports common plurals and conservative spelling corrections.

Include the brand, model, size, capacity, or pack quantity when needed. Search matching does not combine different product variants or guarantee that their retailer offers are equivalent. Some spelling errors and alternative names may still need a more specific search.

Where do the suggestions in product search come from?

After you enter at least two characters, the search box can suggest products from the saved catalog. Choose a suggestion with the mouse or the arrow keys and Enter. A suggestion does not confirm current stock or a current retailer price.

If suggestions are unavailable or there are no matches, you can still submit your own search. Searches for TVs, sofas, and vacuum cleaners exclude selected accessories unless you ask for those accessories explicitly.

How does CartSift correct product categories?

CartSift checks supported product families when products are imported or refreshed. A clear brand and product-family match can correct the category and its browse location. Reviewed category corrections take priority over automatic rules.

Uncertain matches, missing brand information, and possible accessories or replacement parts are flagged for review instead of being automatically moved. Coverage is limited to the supported rules; not every incorrect category can be detected. Category checks use existing product data and do not request new prices.

How does Google sign-in work?

Choose Sign in with Google on the sign-in or create-account page, then select your Google account. Your first sign-in automatically creates a CartSift account using your verified Google email and the first and last names Google provides. CartSift assigns a unique username. No separate signup form or CartSift password is required.

Choosing Sign in with Google means you agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13; if you are 13–17, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. Returning users are signed in to their connected account. Existing two-step verification still applies.

CartSift never automatically merges accounts just because their email addresses match. If you already have a CartSift account using that email, sign in to it first, then connect Google from Account security and confirm its password.

Manage Google from Account security. If you created your account with Google, open Account Settings or Security and use Create password. Enter and confirm a CartSift password of at least 12 characters; you do not need a current CartSift password. If your sign-in is more than 15 minutes old, verify with your connected Google account again first. Creating a password signs out other sessions. You can then sign in using your account email and that password even without access to Google, or continue using Google. Existing two-step verification still applies. A verified email setup link is also available. Missing name details, including Google name parts shorter than 3 characters, are left blank and can be completed in Settings. Google account creation still completes automatically.

During site maintenance, sign-in and registration may be temporarily unavailable.

What is SiftScore?

SiftScore is the CartSift community’s product rating, shown separately from retailer customer ratings. It shows the average and number of ratings submitted by active, verified CartSift accounts. It does not rate a price or verify a purchase.

With a Free or paid account, sign in and verify your email, open a product, choose Rate this product, select 1–5 stars and save. You can edit your rating; each account has one rating per product. Products with no ratings say Not rated yet.

The product page keeps price history, price tools and watch controls alongside retailer offers. Recorded prices retain their source dates; unknown shipping or condition does not qualify for a current comparable total.

How does Facebook sign-in work?

Choose the blue Sign in with Facebook button with the Facebook logo and approve the requested identity access. CartSift creates a new account when needed. If Facebook does not share your email, enter an account email. Verify your email using the CartSift message before enabling email MFA or creating a backup password.

Existing accounts are not merged by email. Sign in to your existing CartSift account and use Account security to connect Facebook, confirming your CartSift password. Enabled two-factor authentication still applies when you sign in with Facebook.

Manage or disconnect Facebook in Account security. Create a backup CartSift password before disconnecting. Account deletion is explained in the Privacy Policy.

How do I compare Amazon listings?

Open a product to review the available Amazon listings in Compare Prices and recorded Amazon history. History is limited to the past 12 months and your account allowance.

Offers sold directly by Amazon and offers from other sellers are distinct. Fulfilled by Amazon alone does not mean sold by Amazon. Check the seller, condition, observation date and shipping for the individual listing.

Sold-by-Amazon history excludes shipping and tax. Marketplace-new history dated February 23, 2026 or later includes shipping but excludes tax; earlier marketplace-new history excludes both. Historical prices do not establish a current checkout total.

Can CartSift find Amazon products that are not already saved?

You can search for Amazon products by name, model or barcode. Search saved products first, then use Find more products when available. The separate Find Amazon products option is temporarily unavailable.

Include the exact capacity, color, size or pack quantity to narrow your results. Check the product details and retailer listing before buying.

Why are sign-in and tools temporarily unavailable?

During maintenance, CartSift shows a banner while public sign-in, registration, searches, comparisons, and account tools are paused. Public informational pages remain available. An account is still required for product pages and shopping tools.

Accounts and saved data are kept. Normal access rules resume when maintenance ends. If a page was already open, the banner may take up to 15 seconds to appear; server restrictions apply to new requests immediately.

Are the homepage editorial images products for sale?

The homepage hero and category images are editorial artwork used to introduce shopping categories. They are not product listings or offers.

Use the category links or search to find real products. Product listings keep their own images and recorded retailer information; the editorial images do not establish a specific model, price, or availability.

How can I turn off CartSift analytics?

Use the aggregate analytics control in the Privacy Policy to turn it off in this browser. CartSift also honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Analytics uses daily totals without visitor identifiers, search text or analytics cookies. Live aggregate totals are retained for 30 days; backups and service records follow separate policies.

Privacy Policy

Where can I read CartSift’s policies?

Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Account-deletion instructions are included in Privacy Policy section 7. Policy links are also available in the website footer. New accounts require agreement to the Terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my CartSift account myself?

Yes. Open Account security, choose Delete account, enter your CartSift password, and type DELETE to confirm. Ordinary self-service deletion does not require a support request or staff approval.

Deletion is permanent. Retention holds can prevent deletion, and separate records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy account-deletion section. If you cannot access your account, contact support@cartsift.com.

How do I change CartSift's language?

Choose Language in the footer. Automatic follows a supported language from your browser and falls back to English if none is found. You can choose English, Spanish, Russian, French, or German.

Your selection is saved on this device. When you are signed in, CartSift also tries to save it to your account. If the account save fails, the status message explains whether your choice remains saved on this device.

Changing language keeps your current page and entered form values. Prices remain in US dollars; language does not change your plan, alerts, or subscription.

Why is some content still in English?

CartSift navigation, public interface messages, categories, and all Help answers are available in English, Spanish, Russian, French, and German. Unrecognized messages fall back to English.

Product and brand names, supplier descriptions, user text, legal documents, emails, and private administration tools are not translated. Dates and other recorded values may retain their original format.

Prices and retailer comparisons

Does CartSift show every retailer or the lowest price anywhere?

No. Comparisons reflect the offers available to CartSift for that product. Coverage can vary, and a product may have few offers or none. The lowest offer shown is not a guarantee of the lowest price across every retailer.

Retailer links let you check the listing even when price or stock is unavailable. A link does not confirm stock. Offers with different or unknown conditions do not receive a lowest-equivalent-offer recommendation.

The headline, retailer order and winner badges use the same lowest known total: item plus listed shipping and reported mandatory fees. Retailers tied at the same cent amount are labeled as tied. Amazon ownership does not override a lower comparable total. New condition is compared when available; other conditions remain separate. Membership, coupons, subscriptions, trade-ins, payment restrictions and minimum quantities do not become unconditional bargains.

Why might a retailer show a different price?

Prices and availability can change after an offer is recorded. Shipping, tax, seller, condition, and the exact product version can also affect the total. Check the retailer's current listing and final total before purchasing.

What should I check besides the advertised price?

Compare the model and variant, condition, seller, stock status, and shipping cost wherever those details are available. Confirm delivery details and purchase terms with the retailer.

Where do I buy a product?

When an offer includes a retailer link, it takes you to the retailer to review the listing and make your purchase. A retailer purchase is separate from any CartSift subscription billing.

Why does a product have no current price?

A product may have no usable current offer, or its latest price check may be unavailable. Older recorded prices can still appear with their dates and an unverified status. Conflicting product matches may be withheld for review.

Unknown shipping is not free. Recorded comparisons and alerts exclude tax and unreported fees; confirm the final charges for your destination at checkout.

Why does a retailer show initials instead of a logo?

CartSift shows locally hosted retailer logos when available. If a logo is missing or cannot load, retailer initials appear instead and the retailer name remains visible. A logo identifies the retailer; it does not verify the seller, product, price, or availability.

Why are some products or retailer listings missing?

CartSift withholds known conflicting product identities and keeps different models, capacities, colors and packs separate. A reviewed product match does not guarantee a current price or stock level.

Check the seller, condition, observation date, shipping and exact contents of the retailer listing. A recent page visit can still show an older recorded price. Missing details are not replaced with information from a similar product.

Corrections to product names, photos or categories do not change retailer prices or availability.

Why are some Amazon offers and price-history charts unavailable?

Amazon data appears when the exact listing has been confirmed and recorded information is available. Missing history, unconfirmed product matches and unavailable offers are not estimated.

Product-detail pages show a linked “Data by Keepa” credit for product information, offers and history supplied by Keepa.

Product image permissions are separate. A product may show Photo unavailable even when its prices and history are available.

Check each listing’s seller, condition, date and shipping. A retailer link does not guarantee stock or the current checkout price.

How complete are the product details?

Product pages can include descriptions, images, identifiers and specifications. Missing manufacturer or model information stays clearly labeled, and conflicting details may require review.

Check the exact product version and included items before buying. Complete product details do not guarantee today's price or stock.

Why does a reopened product page show the same price?

A product page may show the same recorded details when you reopen it. Check the price observation date and confirm the current amount with the retailer.

How do I see the price at a point on the Amazon history graph?

Hover or tap a point on an available Amazon history graph to inspect its recorded price and date. Keyboard users can use the arrow keys, Home, End and Escape.

Historical prices do not confirm today's price or stock. Check the graph's price-type label and cost notes before comparing different kinds of history.

Does an Amazon search result guarantee a current price?

No. A search result identifies a product; it does not guarantee today's price, stock or checkout total. Open the product to review its recorded offers, dates, sellers and conditions. Confirm final charges with the retailer.

Refreshing a page may show the same recorded information. Try a more specific model or return later if you cannot find a suitable listing.

What is the Amazon customer rating?

When available, product pages and search results show Amazon customer product stars and the number of ratings supplied through Keepa. The recorded date is the source update date, not a promise of live Amazon data. Missing ratings remain unavailable.

These are product ratings, not seller feedback or verified-purchase claims. Amazon may combine ratings across variations. They remain separate from CartSift community SiftScore, and rating counts do not necessarily mean written reviews.

Opening a reviewed product can collect its available Amazon rating with the normal product lookup. Saved search results reuse recorded ratings without making a separate rating request. A missing rating remains unavailable until a later normal lookup supplies it.

Why can a product price lookup stay unavailable after I reload?

CartSift may temporarily pause a product check when the listing cannot be matched safely to the selected product. Reloading does not approve a different model or variant.

Other matching retailer listings may still be available. Check the exact model, size, pack and condition, or return later after the product information has been reviewed.

CartSift Intelligence Suite

What is SiftTotal?

SiftTotal displays the known item, shipping and reported mandatory-fee subtotal. Unknown shipping prevents comparison; an unreported fee remains unknown and is disclosed as excluded. An explicit estimated tax amount may appear separately, but it only affects ranking when verified for the same shopper destination across comparable offers. CartSift does not infer a tax rate or promise an absolute cheapest checkout price.

Check the cost breakdown, source Last checked time, condition, seller and purchase restrictions. Confirm final charges and availability with the retailer.

What is SiftIndex?

SiftIndex is a score from 0 to 100 that compares current pricing with recorded price history. A higher score indicates stronger pricing relative to that history.

It is an estimate of the price, not a rating of product quality or a guarantee of future prices, value, or availability.

What is SiftCue?

SiftCue uses recorded pricing signals to offer a Buy, Watch, or Wait recommendation. It considers SiftIndex, recent average prices, the recorded low, and recent price direction when those signals are available.

Use it as context for your decision. It does not predict or guarantee what prices will do next.

Why might a total, score, or recommendation be unavailable?

SiftTotal, SiftIndex and SiftCue calculate automatically when a product loads and recalculate when an authorized on-demand product read returns updated data. No calculate button is needed. Loading or failed updates clear previous results. This does not enable scheduled background price refresh.

SiftTotal needs a current comparable offer with known shipping and condition. SiftIndex and SiftCue also need at least 10 comparable daily observations spanning 30 days within your account's available history. The current total and historical observations must use the same condition, quantity, fee and tax basis.

Older CartSift history without those recorded details and separate Amazon chart history remain viewable but cannot supply these comparisons. If sufficient comparable data is missing, the tools explain what is unavailable. An unavailable result does not mean the product is a good or bad deal.

Watchlists and alerts

Where can I find my watchlist?

Sign in and open Watchlist to review your saved product watches and their status. If a product has no current retailer offer, a price comparison may be unavailable.

What does a target price mean?

A target price is the threshold set for a product watch. When a current comparison price is available, the watch can show whether it is at or below your target. A target does not reserve stock or lock in a retailer's price.

Alerts evaluate recorded new-condition item price plus known shipping and reported mandatory fees. Tax and unreported fees are excluded. An item-price drop offset by higher shipping or fees is not a lower-total alert. Percentage and any-drop comparisons require the same known cost basis.

An older percentage alert with an unknown baseline basis is held without changing its saved threshold. Its notice explains how to change it to a target alert and then back to percentage when an eligible known total is available. This deliberately sets a new baseline; simply pausing and resuming does not invent one. No qualifying current offer means no current comparison.

What does a paused watch mean?

A paused watch is not currently active. Review the watch's status and settings in your watchlist.

You can pause an existing alert even if your current plan no longer includes that alert type. Pausing keeps its saved rule and baseline. Resuming or changing the alert still requires the applicable plan and available alert capacity.

How can I find a product in my watchlist?

Search your watchlist by product name or brand, then narrow it by watch status and alert type. Sort by recently added, product name, or stored price. Watches without an available price appear last in both price sorts.

The summary counts cover your entire loaded watchlist. Select a summary to filter by that status. Clear filters restores the full list without changing your alert settings.

What does Threshold met mean in my watchlist?

An active target-price or percentage-drop watch has a stored price at or below its threshold. Percentage-drop thresholds use the saved fixed baseline. Paused watches are excluded, and any-price-drop watches need more than one stored price to establish a drop.

This comparison does not confirm that an email was sent. Prices shown are stored offers, not live quotes. Check the retailer for the final price and availability.

Why is a price unavailable in my watchlist?

Your watch is saved, but CartSift has no eligible stored retailer offer to display. Your target or percentage settings remain visible. This is different from an empty watchlist or a failure to load your saved watches.

If the list changes during loading or arrives incomplete, CartSift asks you to try again instead of showing partial counts. Retrying reloads your saved watches without changing your alert settings.

What happens when I remove a watch?

Remove watch deletes that saved alert. The button shows progress while the request is pending. If the server confirms that the watch was already removed, it also disappears from your list.

If the request fails, the watch stays visible and you can retry. An expired session sends you to sign in. Only an explicit watch-not-found response is treated as already removed; other lookup errors do not confirm deletion.

What do I need to receive a price alert email?

You need an active account with a verified email, an active watch available under your plan, and Price alert emails enabled in Settings. A newly recorded eligible price must match that watch's target-price, any-price-drop, or percentage-drop rule. Percentage rules use the fixed baseline saved when the watch was created.

Eligible prices include known shipping before tax for an available offer in US dollars. An unavailable price, unknown shipping, or a historical price does not trigger an email. Email delivery can be delayed or fail; a matching rule or a saved watch is not a delivery guarantee.

Why did saving my watch not send a price alert?

Saving a watch does not fetch a new retailer price. Automatic retailer price checks are currently off. Alerts need a newly recorded eligible price after your watch is active; existing stored prices and historical imports are not sent as a backlog of alerts.

An any-price-drop watch needs a qualifying drop recorded after the watch is created. Target-price and percentage-drop watches do not send repeated emails for the same or a higher qualifying price. A later lower price can qualify again. Check the retailer for the final price and availability before buying.

How do I stop price alert emails?

Turn off Price alert emails in Settings and save your preferences to stop future price alert emails for all watches. This setting does not turn off account security emails. To stop alerts for one product, pause or remove its watch from Price Alerts.

A message already being sent cannot be recalled. Turning the preference back on or resuming a watch does not send a backlog of historical alerts; a new eligible price must qualify.

Accounts and subscriptions

Where can I find my account settings?

After signing in, open Account Settings. You can also use the account menu to reach your watchlist and security settings.

Your account uses a first name and last name, each with at least 3 characters. Leading and trailing spaces do not count toward the minimum. You can update both in your profile. Your username remains your account handle.

Choose Sign out from the account menu to end your session and return to the sign-in page.

Is a CartSift subscription the same as a retailer purchase?

No. Any CartSift subscription billing is for CartSift services. Payment for a product purchased from a retailer is a separate transaction with that retailer. A CartSift subscription does not pay for products in your watchlist.

How much does CartSift Plus cost?

CartSift Plus is $9.99 USD per month or $100 USD per year, recurring until cancelled. The yearly option saves $19.88 compared with 12 monthly payments.

Sign in and verify your email, then open Your plan to subscribe. Signup and tools may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance; existing subscriptions can still be managed through Stripe.

Your first subscription includes a 7-day free trial with a payment method required. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. One trial per CartSift account.

How do monthly and yearly Plus subscriptions renew?

CartSift Plus costs $9.99 USD per month or $100 USD per year. Your chosen billing period renews automatically until you cancel. The yearly plan saves $19.88 compared with 12 monthly payments.

Sign in, verify your email, and open Your plan to choose a subscription. Stripe handles payment details. Plus access starts when Stripe confirms your trial or payment; returning from Checkout alone does not confirm either.

How do I cancel or manage my Plus subscription?

Open Your plan and choose Manage billing to use Stripe's secure customer portal. You can update your payment method, view invoices, and cancel renewal. Cancel during the trial before it ends to avoid the first charge; Stripe shows when your access ends. After payment, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and access continues through that paid period.

An unpaid renewal does not extend Plus access. Saved watches are not deleted when paid access ends.

Close any unfinished checkout and resolve your subscription before deleting your account. If your subscription is scheduled to end or you cannot access billing, contact support for help with account deletion.

During maintenance or if you cannot sign in to CartSift, use Stripe billing sign-in with the billing email used in Checkout.

How does the 7-day Plus free trial work?

Your first CartSift Plus subscription includes a 7-day free trial with a payment method required. The trial begins when you complete Stripe Checkout. After 7 days, your selected plan is charged automatically at $9.99 USD per month or $100 USD per year and renews until cancelled. Cancel through Manage billing before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. One trial per CartSift account; resubscribing does not restart the trial.

Both monthly and yearly plans include the same trial. Stripe shows the trial end and first charge details at checkout. Your plan also shows the trial end date and how to cancel. If payment is not confirmed when the trial ends, trial access expires. Saved watches are retained.

How do I turn on two-factor authentication?

Two-factor authentication is optional for every CartSift account. Open Account Settings or Security and choose Set up authenticator. Confirm your CartSift password. If you use Google without a CartSift password, a Google sign-in within the last 15 minutes confirms your identity; otherwise choose Verify with Google first.

Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or another compatible authenticator app. You can also open the authenticator link on your device or enter the setup key manually. Enter the current six-digit code to enable protection, then save your ten single-use recovery codes somewhere secure. Setup expires after ten minutes. Other signed-in sessions are signed out when you enable protection.

Once enabled, CartSift asks for an authenticator code or a recovery code after Google sign-in or email and password sign-in. A backup password does not bypass this step. Email verification codes are also available as a separate two-factor option in Settings. SMS codes are not offered.

What if I lose my authenticator or need new recovery codes?

Choose Use a recovery code at the sign-in verification step. Each recovery code works once. CartSift cannot display previously issued codes again. Keep them separately from your phone.

In Account Settings or Security, you can generate a new set of recovery codes or turn off two-factor authentication. Confirm your CartSift password, or verify a recent Google sign-in if you have no CartSift password, and provide an authenticator or unused recovery code. Generating new codes invalidates all old codes. These changes sign out your other sessions.

Resetting your password does not turn off two-factor authentication. If you have lost both your authenticator and every recovery code, contact support@cartsift.com for assistance. Contacting support does not automatically remove account protection.

Can CartSift show my Google profile picture?

Yes. When you sign in with Google, CartSift uses the profile picture Google provides in your account menu, account overview, and profile settings. If you already connected Google, choose Sign in with Google again to import your picture.

CartSift refreshes the picture URL each time you sign in with Google. Update your photo in your Google Account, then sign in with Google again. If Google provides no supported picture, or it cannot load, CartSift shows its account icon instead.

Your picture is used in your signed-in account area. Disconnecting Google removes its stored picture URL; deleting your CartSift account removes its connected identity and picture URL as well.

Can I use email codes for two-factor authentication?

Yes. In Account Settings or Security, choose Email verification codes. Your account email must be verified. Confirm your password, or a recent Google sign-in if your account has no password, then request and enter the six-digit setup code. Save the ten recovery codes shown after setup.

CartSift asks for an email code after either Google or password sign-in. Codes expire ten minutes after the request and work once. Delivery can take a minute; use Resend email code after one minute if needed. A new request replaces earlier codes. Requests and incorrect attempts are limited.

An authenticator app is recommended because email codes depend on access to your inbox. CartSift uses one two-factor method at a time. Turn off your current method before switching, and turn off email codes before changing your account email. Password resets do not remove two-factor protection.

You can use a saved recovery code instead of an email code. In Settings, verify your identity and request a management code to turn off email codes or generate replacement recovery codes. These changes sign out other sessions; replacement recovery codes invalidate the old set.

Can CartSift show my Facebook profile picture?

Yes. Sign in with Facebook to display the picture Facebook provides in your account menu, account overview, and profile settings. If you already connected Facebook, choose Sign in with Facebook again to import or refresh your picture.

Update your photo on Facebook, then sign in with Facebook again. Facebook picture links can expire. If the picture is missing or cannot load, CartSift shows its account icon. If you also have a stored Google picture, that picture takes priority.

Disconnecting Facebook removes its stored picture URL. Deleting your CartSift account removes its connected identities and picture URLs.

What counts as a referral, and are there rewards?

Your total increases when a new account is successfully created through your link. A signup counts before email verification; clicking a link or signing in again does not count. Each new account can credit one referrer.

Referrals currently track signups only. There are no discounts, credits, cash payments, or free subscription rewards. Your account shows a count without your friends' names or email addresses. Deleted accounts are removed from the total, and links from disabled accounts do not receive new referrals.

Can I turn off ads on the Free plan?

No. Advertising is currently paused, but Free accounts and visitors will see ads when it starts. Ad-free access is included with Plus.

The Ad privacy choices control sale, sharing, and targeted advertising data use. They do not remove ads. The planned setup uses non-personalized ads with restricted data processing, including for Global Privacy Control signals. Where consent is required, advertising also depends on that consent.

Can I reply to a CartSift no-reply email for help?

The no-reply@cartsift.com mailbox is not monitored. If you need help, please email support@cartsift.com. Verification, password-reset, verification-code, and price-alert messages include this support notice in both HTML and plain text.

Getting help

What can I try if I cannot find a product?

Check the spelling, try the exact model number or UPC, or simplify your search to the brand and product name. CartSift may not have information or offers for every product.

Who can help with an order placed with a retailer?

Use the order-help options provided by the retailer where you made the purchase. Have your order confirmation ready when checking on delivery, a return, or a charge for that order.

How do I contact CartSift?

For business inquiries and all other questions unrelated to customer support, email contact@cartsift.com.

For help with your account or using CartSift, email Support@CartSift.com or submit a support ticket. To follow up on an existing ticket, use Check ticket status.

You can find the email and ticket links on our Contact & Support page.

How can I report a broken retailer link or incorrect product information?

On a retailer offer, choose Report link issue. For product details, use Report product information or a retailer link beneath Specifications. Both open the same form with the product and, where selected, the retailer listing attached.

Choose the issue, optionally add a note, and select Submit report. CartSift uses your verified account contact details and creates a support ticket. A successful submission shows the ticket number. No copying or separate ticket form is needed. Do not include passwords, payment details or your address.

If a response is interrupted, use Check report again to recover its result. If delivery cannot be confirmed, CartSift holds the report to avoid a duplicate and shows a reference for support. Reports do not automatically change product data. Reporting limits apply.

Where can I find CartSift on social media?

Use the clickable X, Facebook, and Instagram logos in the website footer to open CartSift’s social profiles in a new tab. Each logo has an accessible name identifying its destination.
