Terms of Service

Terms effective September 29, 2026. Terms and refund policy updated October 6, 2026 (UTC).

1. About these Terms

CartSift is a trade name and brand owned and operated by Cable Business Group LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. CartSift is not a separate legal entity. “CartSift,” “we,” “us,” and “our” in these Terms refer to Cable Business Group LLC operating the CartSift service. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the Service.

These Terms govern your use of the CartSift website and the shopping tools and account features we make available through it, collectively the “Service.” By accessing or using CartSift, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use CartSift. If you use the Service for an organization, you must have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Its account-deletion section explains deletion requests and applicable retention exceptions. These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy or authorize uses of personal information beyond what applicable law permits.

2. Eligibility and children

You must be at least 13 to use CartSift, create an account, or provide personal information through the Service. Children under 13 may not use CartSift. If you are aged 13–17, by using CartSift you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. CartSift relies on that representation; it is not independently verified parental permission.

We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts or knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13 or that we have collected their personal information, we will address the account and information under our Privacy Policy and applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes this has occurred should contact CartSift support.

3. Accounts and account security

An active account with a verified email address is required to access CartSift’s search and shopping tools. Provide accurate registration information and keep your account information current. Protect your password, recovery information, and any additional authentication methods you enable. Do not share another person’s account or use it without authorization.

Verify your account email before using search and shopping tools. If you change your email address, verify the new address before using those tools again. Account settings, account deletion, and support remain available before verification. Complete other account checks when requested. If you forget your password, use the recovery option on the sign-in page. A sign-in method is available only when CartSift identifies it as enabled; a reference to an external provider does not mean that provider can currently be used.

When Google sign-in is enabled, you may use it to create a new CartSift account or connect an existing account. Creating a new account with Google does not require a CartSift password. You may add a backup CartSift password later in Account Settings. Connecting an existing account requires confirmation of that account's current password. Subsequent Google sign-ins do not require the CartSift password, but any applicable two-step verification still applies. Matching email addresses alone do not merge accounts. You may disconnect Google in account settings; disconnecting it does not delete either account. The Privacy Policy explains the identity information used for this feature.
Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your authorized use of the account and reasonable precautions to protect it. This provision does not make you responsible for losses caused by our failure to meet obligations imposed by applicable law.

4. What CartSift provides

CartSift provides shopping information to help you find and compare products. Depending on available information, account access, and service availability, its tools include:

Coverage varies. CartSift does not index every retailer, product, seller, or offer. Some results or features may be unavailable, limited, delayed, or interrupted. Maintenance can temporarily prevent sign-in, registration, or access to tools.

Descriptions of possible future features do not make those features part of the Service or promise a release date. Only features actually made available to you are included in your access.

5. Product matching, prices, and availability

Product matching helps you compare listings; it does not guarantee that products are identical. Before purchasing, confirm the model, generation, size, capacity, color, quantity, included items, condition, seller, and other details important to you. Similar names or images alone do not establish equivalence.

Product details, prices, shipping, taxes, condition, stock, delivery estimates, and availability may come from retailers, data providers, or recorded observations. They can be incomplete, delayed, incorrect, or changed after we obtain them. A timestamp describes when information was observed or recorded, not a guarantee that it remains current.

Historical prices describe past observations and are not current purchase offers. A missing offer or price does not establish that a product is unavailable elsewhere. Comparisons may exclude offers that lack the information needed for a reliable comparison.

The retailer’s checkout page controls the final transaction price, shipping, taxes, availability, and purchase terms. Confirm those details before paying. CartSift does not reserve inventory, lock in a price, or guarantee that a retailer will honor a price displayed in the Service.

6. SiftTotal, SiftIndex, and SiftCue

SiftTotal shows an item-and-shipping subtotal when those amounts are known. An estimated checkout total requires tax information. Unknown tax is not treated as zero, and an estimate may not include every fee, discount, membership benefit, or location-specific charge.

SiftIndex compares available pricing with recorded price history. It is a pricing indicator, not a rating of product quality, safety, seller reliability, or suitability for your needs.

SiftCue uses available pricing signals to provide Buy, Watch, or Wait guidance. It does not predict or guarantee future prices or availability.

These tools may be unavailable when required information is missing or insufficient. Their estimates, scores, and suggestions are aids to your decision, not promises of savings or the lowest price in the market. You decide whether, when, and where to purchase.

7. Watchlists and alerts

You may save supported product watches and select available alert settings within your account’s limits. A target price is a comparison threshold. It does not reserve a product or require a retailer to sell at that price.

A “threshold met” indicator is based on stored offer information. It does not confirm that a notification was sent or received. Saving an alert setting also does not, by itself, establish that continuous monitoring or a particular delivery channel is active.

Price checks, data updates, and notifications may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable. CartSift does not promise continuous monitoring, a particular refresh interval, or delivery of every price change. Check your account and the retailer’s current listing before making a purchase. You can manage available watch and alert settings through your account.

8. Free accounts, Plus access, and payment availability

CartSift offers Free accounts and supports Plus access capabilities. See the current Pricing page for plan descriptions and availability.

CartSift Plus costs $9.99 USD per month or $100 USD per year. Your selected plan renews automatically at its stated price and interval until cancelled. Stripe presents the total before you confirm payment. Your first CartSift Plus subscription includes a 7-day free trial with a payment method required. The trial begins when you complete Stripe Checkout. After 7 days, your selected plan is charged automatically at $9.99 USD per month or $100 USD per year and renews until cancelled. Cancel through Manage billing before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. One trial per CartSift account; resubscribing does not restart the trial. Creating a Free account or saving a watch does not authorize recurring charges.

Subscribe from Your plan after signing in and verifying your email. By completing subscription Checkout, you authorize recurring charges for the plan you select. Stripe processes payment details; CartSift does not store your full card number or security code.

View your subscription invoices and download available invoice PDFs through Manage billing in Your plan or Stripe's email sign-in portal. Card charges use the statement descriptor CARTSIFT; the first charge after a trial may include TRIAL OVER. The way it appears may vary by bank or payment method. For help finding an invoice or identifying a charge, contact support@cartsift.com.

Subscription refunds and cancellation

CartSift is operated by Cable Business Group LLC. This policy applies to CartSift subscription payments.

Effective date and existing subscriptions. This refund policy applies to new subscriptions entered into after publication of this update on October 6, 2026 (UTC). For existing subscriptions, the prior refund terms continue to apply until any required notice and renewed agreement under Section 15 have been completed. Under those prior terms, cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment; refund requests are reviewed individually, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. This update does not retroactively change the terms applicable to prior payments or existing disputes.

Refund requests. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Except where required by applicable law, refunds are granted at our discretion and are not guaranteed. Unused subscription time, lack of use, changes of mind, or forgetting to cancel before renewal do not automatically qualify for a refund. Refunds required by applicable law will be provided regardless of our discretionary review.

Cancellation. You may cancel future renewals through Manage billing in Your plan or Stripe's email sign-in portal. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent that renewal. Cancellation does not automatically refund prior payments. After payment, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and paid access continues through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. If your subscription includes a free trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge; Stripe shows when cancellation and trial access end.

How to request a refund. Email support@cartsift.com with your account email, the charge date and amount, and the reason for your request. Do not send your full card number or bank details. Contact us promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized. Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method where supported. Processing time depends on the payment provider and your financial institution.

Your legal rights. Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation, withdrawal, refund, payment-dispute or other consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Contacting CartSift does not replace or restrict your rights through your payment provider.

When a trial ends, continued subscription access requires a confirmed payment. An unpaid renewal does not extend Plus access. Once confirmed paid access expires, subscription-funded Plus access ends. Saved watches are retained; alert types and active alerts beyond Free limits are paused rather than deleted. Close unfinished checkouts and resolve any subscription before deleting your account; contact support if you need help. Website maintenance does not cancel a subscription or prevent cancellation through Stripe's portal.

Retailer purchases. CartSift subscription refunds are separate from refunds for products purchased from retailers. Product returns and retailer refund requests must be directed to the retailer under its policies and applicable law. Payment for a CartSift service does not purchase products or pay charges owed to a retailer.

9. Retailer purchases and third-party websites

CartSift is not the retailer, seller, manufacturer, distributor, payment processor, or fulfillment provider for products listed through the Service. Purchases made after following retailer links are transactions between you and the relevant retailer or seller.

The retailer or seller handles order acceptance, product payment, shipping, fulfillment, returns, product refunds, and applicable warranties. Direct questions or disputes about those matters to the retailer or seller.

Third-party websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before purchasing or providing personal information. A listing or link on CartSift does not guarantee a third party’s products, conduct, or performance.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

These restrictions do not limit rights or activities that applicable law does not permit us to restrict.

11. Intellectual property and feedback

CartSift’s software, branding, and original content belong to Cable Business Group LLC or its licensors. Retailer and manufacturer names, marks, images, and product materials belong to their respective owners. Using the Service does not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Google, Facebook, Apple, and their respective logos are trademarks of their respective owners. These names and logos identify third-party sign-in services displayed on CartSift. Only sign-in methods marked as available can be used. Their use does not imply that Google, Meta, or Apple sponsors or endorses CartSift.

Subject to these Terms, you may use the Service and its displayed information for your own lawful shopping and comparison purposes. Other use of protected material requires permission from its owner unless applicable law permits it.

If you voluntarily send us suggestions about CartSift, you retain ownership of any rights you have in those suggestions. You grant Cable Business Group LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, adapt, summarize, and develop the suggestions to operate and improve CartSift without an obligation to compensate you. This permission does not authorize publication of your personal information, private support correspondence, or unrelated original works. Do not send ideas you are not entitled to share or that require a confidentiality agreement unless we have agreed separately in writing.

Suggestions do not create a promise that we will build or release a feature. This feedback provision does not establish a feature-request portal or voting entitlement.

To report a copyright concern, email support@cartsift.com. Identify the work, the material on CartSift you believe infringes it, its location, and a way to reach you. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. This contact process does not represent that CartSift has registered a designated DMCA agent.

12. Communications and account deletion

We may send communications needed to operate or secure your account, including verification, recovery, security, and important service notices. Optional marketing preferences do not necessarily control required account or security messages. Available alert settings can be managed through your account.

You may stop using CartSift at any time. To delete your account, use the account security settings and complete the required identity verification and confirmation steps. If you cannot access your account, contact support for help.

Privacy Policy section 7 governs deletion requests and applicable retention exceptions. Closing an account does not necessarily erase every record immediately; some records may need to be retained as permitted or required by law. These Terms do not establish a separate retention period. If you have a separately arranged paid service, follow its cancellation terms as well; do not assume that account deletion alone cancels that arrangement.

13. Service changes, suspension, and termination

We may maintain, update, or change the Service. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address material violations of these Terms, misuse, unauthorized access, security risks, or legal requirements.

Where reasonably practicable and permitted by law, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to contact support or correct the issue. We may act immediately when necessary to protect users or the Service or to comply with law.

Changes or termination do not eliminate accrued rights, mandatory consumer protections, or refund or access rights under an applicable paid-service agreement. Provisions that by their nature need to continue after account closure, including ownership and applicable dispute provisions, will continue to apply.

14. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that third-party information will always be complete, accurate, or current. To that same extent, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cable Business Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service. This exclusion does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or remedies. These Terms do not establish a monetary liability cap.

15. Questions, disputes, and changes to these Terms

If you have a concern about CartSift, contact us so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising a legal right or meeting a filing deadline. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive a right to bring a class action or request a jury trial.

We may update these Terms. We will identify the updated version and its effective date and provide notice of material changes through a method appropriate to the change and applicable law. Where renewed agreement is required, we will obtain it. Changes will not apply retroactively to an existing dispute unless permitted by law and agreed by the affected parties. Your continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance, subject to any notice or express-consent requirements under applicable law.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
